I had a fun work trip to Austin in July. It was unusually rainy and super humid, but still a wonderful trip. The view from the hotel balcony.
We decided to walk home from dinner one night and spend several hours on the famous bat bridge waiting for them to make their appearance. Unfortunately, because of all the rain, they were full of insects and did not need to head out. It was like Thanksgiving dinner for them. They did swirl around quite a bit underneath the bridge, but no mass exodus for us to witness. It was still a fun evening hanging with my co-workers.
