Sidney is obsessed with these delicious sandwich creations.

This is a picture of my mom's haul when she only needed a couple of things at the grocery store.  This literally happens every time I ask her if she wants to go with me.  I would hate to see her long list - ha!

I have been perfecting my at home gel manicure.

My mom loves to ride along in the golf cart with me.  Her mission is not golf.  She brings along duck food and jumps out at the ponds to feed them.

Animal Kingdom.

My life is full.  Crazy, but full.  I just love each and every one of my little (and not so little creatures).  My mom sent me this cute picture of Willow while I was on one of my trips.

Levi and I are coming along nicely.  I had a ride on him the other night, and he got a little spicy.  I was proud of myself as I was able to ride through it.  The thing about Levi is that he is not crazy.  Even when he acts up, it is slow.  This gave me time to think it through and not freak out.  I was able to successfully pull him to a one rein stop...nice and slow.

Sidney just thinks this is the funniest thing to do with Bailey.  Not sure I see it, but he does seem to have fun with it.

I love our equine veterinary crew.  They are always willing to talk through options for giving our horses their best lives.  Pigeon getting his annual dental appointment.  I forgot to get a picture of Levi.

Levi got a nice bath on one of our recent warm days.  He is really looking good.

Poor Bella.  I could not find a picture of her on my camera roll from the past couple of weeks.  She is loved nonetheless.

Farmer's Market Finds.

Kendall and Diego make a point to visit the Farmer's market each Saturday.  They stock up on their favorites eats and treats.  Kendall found this cute headband from one of the vendors.

She also scored this VERY cool Boise sign.  

Kendall had her first voting experience this month.  The ladies manning the election site made a very big deal about it being her first time.  They literally shouted it out several times.  Kendall thought it was pretty cool.

Kendall is fully back to work now.  Her ankle is technically healed, but it certainly does swell up at times.  They said that is to be expected for quite awhile.

Desi is really enjoying her new home.  Kendall's apartment is so cute.  I would love it too.

The crazy kitty managed to eat a hole in the treat bag one day while Kendall was gone.  She gorged.

Then threw up.  Welcome to parenthood!

Let Summer Begin!

Sidney is not going to let one minute of this summer go to waste.  She has become a pickleball fan and has even gotten me out there a bit.

She has been celebrating many of her friend graduations.  Jayde has finished BSU with her radiology degree.

Sidney celebrated the last day of school with friends.  

Sidney finished her first full year of in person school since fourth grade.  All in all it went well.  She started off with lots of migraines and lots of evening where she came home and literally went to bed.  In February we were able to try a new medication.  It is a once per month injection and it has been an absolute game changer!

Sidney and Claire wasted no time.  They headed to Stanley for a hike in the Sawtooths.

Okay, I am not sure this is what I would do, but Sidney made sure her life straw worked.  Umm, that seems like a terrible idea.  Lucky for her, it did work.

She has been enjoying the gorgeous evenings on our back patio, either sunbathing, reading or just generally relaxing.

Building a Trailer.

I sold our old horse trailer.  I loved that trailer, BUT I really wanted one with a swing out saddle holder.  I am getting too old to climb up into that tack room with a giant saddle in tow.  I would have retrofitted our old trailer, but the door was not wide enough.  After much thought, I decided to go with a Maverik trailer.  They are economical and very nice.  Sidney and I picked out the options we thought we wanted and they got to work.  It should only be another couple of weeks.  They sent these pictures of the progress.  We are going with another three horse.  When we first got our other three horse, we only had one horse, but it was the only trailer on the market at the time.  It has been so handy.  We now have two horses and often have a friend with us, so the three horse works really well! I am so excited to have it be finished.  My garage will be excited too.

Dahlia Update.

 Well, I moved the Dahlia's out to the garden, as I think we are past the freezing temperatures.  I was able to fill three pots with the bulbs.  No blooms yet, but I am hopeful to see some soon.

My peonies are blooming like crazy this year.  I left town for three days to come home to lots of flowers.  The were getting so heavy they were starting to tip over.  I need to figure out the best way to prop them up.

I cut this amazing bouquet for my kitchen counter.

A few weeks earlier, my mom had gotten me these beautiful coral flowers.  I put some of the purple upright phlox from my garden in with it.  They look lovely together.

One of my bushes in the front decided to die.  I did not feel very inspired to plant something in it's place.  Sidney's friend, Claire, helped me reconfigure the space by rearranging a few of my things.  We moved the bird bath to the place of the deceased plant.  

We moved this welcome sign into the bird bath spot.  It was a good use of things I already had.

Road Trip (Hallie's Shower).

The girls and I took a road trip up North to help Hallie celebrate the upcoming arrival of her baby girl, Harper.  

Each of the girls drove legs of the trip.  Sidney was not too pleased at first, but it was good practice, as she has an upcoming road trip planned with her friends.  

The party was awesome.  Hallie had all of her close friends and family come to celebrate.

I got to visit with some friends from high school, which is fun.

Kendall had crocheted these cute headbands for Harper.  She made two sizes, one for newborn and one for when she gets a little bit older.

My sister and Hallie's friend, Angel, decorated beautifully!

Angel painted these amazing wall hangings that served as both party decor and baby room decor.

This picture truly captures the essence of the party.  It was lovely and perfect.  Hallie and Jonny are all set for Harper's arrival.

Each of us went home with a cute little honey pot.

My mom made some cute sugar cookies. 

It was so nice to see everyone and visit.  Dylan's dog Ash is literally the sweetest thing.

Steph, Sid and I took Ash on a walk to the lake.  A few minutes after we left the house it started to pour.  Oh well, we kept going anyways.

After the party, the neighbors cows decided to cozy up to the fence line.
