Nashville

I had a work trip to Nashville this month.  I connected through Denver and lo and behold they got the worst snow storm of the year...in May.  Thankfully, it only put us about 4 hours behind.  I arrived at my hotel at 2am.  Yuck.  I sent this airport picture to my co-worker, who lives in Denver, but was in Dallas that week.  She checked her doorbell camera to see the snow pile up.

The coolest thing happened.  I was able to make a custom felt cowboy hat.  As you saw from one of my April posts, I had just bought a straw cowboy hat, so I still did not own a felt one.  I was able to pick out the color, two ribbons, a pin and two brands.  I created this cute little brand on the spot.  It is a lucky horse shoe with and L in the middle for Levi.  I also could have added a playing card and a feather, but that is not really my thing.

The first day it rained most of the day.  The second day, the sun came out and I went for a walk along the river.  It is a cool little town.  It did remind me a bit of Vegas, but country style.

On the way home, I was flying Southwest again.  Apparently this was the newest plane in their fleet.  It was pretty neat looking.  All of the crew members were geeking out.  I get it!
