I took a trip up North to visit my sister and meet baby Harper over the 4th of July.
The first order of business was to get a new hat to replace my 'Drink More Coffee' hat from Dutch, which has been showing signs of wear.
My sister and I attended a concert in Marina 33. The Kelly Hughes Band was playing, and it was a great concert. Everyone was up and dancing from 2 years old to 90 years old.
On the fourth of July, we went to see Mitch and Lynda's new place on the Pend Orielle River.
I used to babysit Justin when he was a baby, and I was probably 10 or 11 years old. He said he remember having a ton of dance parties with me when he was little. Specifically, Kool and the Gang and The Pointer Sisters. I love that he has that core memory.
We went out on the boat, and they somehow manage to talk me into getting in the tube with Harrison. I am pretty sure Justin was trying to dump us, but my hands of velcro kept me safe.
It was such a fun day and so good to see everyone!
The last day I was there, I went golfing with my childhood best friend, Lorain, and her husband Bill. It was such a fun outing. Lorain and I play very similarly, which made it even more fun.
