Dance the Magic - Official.

Yay!  We finally received the Dance the Magic professional pictures.  Bear with me.  I did manage to cut down the thousands of pictures and hours of video to feature my favorite Dance the Magic dancer.  Enjoy!

Videos and pictures from the welcome and rehearsal.

Congrats to the Graduates!

The girls are at the age where some of their friends are starting to graduate high school.  There were a few special graduates this year that they celebrated with.

Naiya and Kendall have been friend since Desert Sage Elementary.  They even ran cross country together.  These girls do not see each other often, but have remained huge supporters of one another.

Bentley graduated this year.  Dance will not be the same without Bentley and her mom to pal around with!

Oh Hannah.  I cannot believe this time has come.  Hannah graduated this year.  Wow!  Is she really a friend, or rather family?

Who doesn't follow up their graduation with Chick-fil-A?

Wonderful World of Disney Recital.

Kendall's dance studio had a Disney themed recital this year.  My mom made 120 cookies for the booster club to sell at the recital.  My mom did all the hard work, but I was able to help in the frosting of some of them.

Kendall was in all three shows, and had a fantastic time.  She got pictures with each of her instructors after the recital.

Echo and Kendall.

Hayley and Kendall.  These two are basically the same person.

Kendall and Savanna.  Savanna has been amazing this year and has pushed Kendall outside of her comfort zone to really grow as a dancer.  She encouraged Kendall to take some of the advanced classes.  Though it was stressful at first, Kendall's confidence grew tremendously.

Cozey and Kendall.  We love Cozey!

The traditional Kendall picking mom up picture.  Ugh.

Chloe and Kendall.  This was Chloe's first year on Revive Team.  Kendall and Bentley welcomed her with open arms.

Emma came for the recital.  Just like old times!

The team put this amazing blanket together for Bentley and gave it to her after the last recital.  It has pictures of each of her years on Revive team.

Sunsets and Signs.

I was asked a couple weeks ago, what brings me joy.  My answer was sunrises, sunsets and walking.  Kevin was also a lover of sunrises and sunsets (not so much walking).  The girls have inherited that love.  It is often that we are sharing our pictures of sunrises and sunsets.

No other place to put this other than here.  Cute picture of Sidney and I.  Oh this is my now favorite t-shirt (that I bought at Pinners).  It says, "It's weird being the same age as old people."

My old digital picture frame died, so I upgraded to this beautiful new frame.  It only took me nearly 10 hours to load pictures on the new one.  Saturday, gone! The reward is great though.

I am obsessed with these wood cutouts.  There was a small business vendor at Pinners selling these adorable things.  She gives you the cutouts and paint and you do it yourself.  My mom and I each bought a couple of sets.  I happily painted my mom's for her!  They are awesome and a low key way to change my decor throughout the year.

There are more where those came from.  Like I said...obsessed!

NRG Seattle 2024.

Kendall had her last dance convention for the season in Seattle.  It was NRG Dance Project.  The studio had not been to this one before.  It was SO much fun.  The energy (pun intended) was perfection.  To top it off, we had a star sighting.  Nicole Ritchie was there with her daughter, just being a regular ole dance mom.

Kendall and I waiting for our ride to the hotel.

First thing is first, food.  We found this amazing little restaurant that had the BEST grilled cheese ever.  It was complete with bacon and avocado.

After lunch, we stopped by 7 eleven to load up on snack.  I think this must be trend, because Kendall insisted on a picture.

Kendall had the huge responsibility of transporting 'Petey' their dance prop.  I was happy to report that Petey made the trip safely.

Kendall and Bentley competed their solos on Friday night and did absolutely amazing.  Kendall even had the misfortune of her music not starting, so she was told to 'exit the stage' and had to come back on a few dances later.  That would have been nerve wracking, but she handled it like a pro.

Kendall getting amped up for convention day one.

The team dances also went amazing.  I held my breath during the hip hop, as Kendall has several tricks.  She nailed them all.  Bentley's mom sent me a text celebrating (she was not able to come).  When I told her that I held my breath every time, she confessed that she did as well.  Good to know!

Our favorite uber driver got out of bed, late Sunday night, to pick us up.
