July 4th and a Visit from Steph and Jason.

Coincidentally, Steph and Jason surprised us with a visit to Boise over the 4th of July weekend.  It just so happened to be the same weekend as the Mustang Mania.  We packed in a whole lot of fun!  I went golfing with my dad and Jason.  I could not resist taking a moment to enjoy the beautiful sun rise before heading out to the course.

It was a beautiful morning and my golf game was not half bad.  As it turns out, my dad and I were hitting some balls a few weeks back.  The course PRO came by to say hi to my dad.  While we were standing there, he asked if he could make a suggestion.  Uh, YES!  He gave me a tip that was a game changer.  Now when my dad gives me advice, I tell him he needs to talk to my manager:).

We spent the afternoons at the pool.  It was perfection!

The girls had fun gabbing with their aunt Stephanie.  She is way cooler than I am!

They had to head home on the 4th and Kendall had plans with her friends.  I thought Sid did too (as it turned out she did, but they were only morning plans).  While on my morning walk, my neighbor invited me over for a BBQ.  Of course, I had to paint my nails a patriotic blue for the occassion. 

Sid joined me and we had a delicious dinner and enjoyed fireworks in the neighborhood.  It was glorious, and thankfully the dogs slept right on through it.
