Junk Drawer - November 2025.

I think my coworker might be stalking me.  What do you think?

My other co-worker (not the stalker pictured above) made me these AWESOME 3d printed Christmas trees.  They are very cool.  He now has quite the order for them from the rest of the team.

Sidney being getting some love from Willow and Dani.  These two critters love playing with one another.  I am pretty sure Willow thinks she is a dog.

I took the picture of Levi to send to my mom with the caption, "I talked to Levi, and he is really sorry."  You see, the night before my mom offered to go give Levi his medicine.  I was dark and she put the tiny tablet between her fingers without thinking.  Well, he bit her finger hard.  He had no idea, and my mom said she does not know what possessed her to do that, as she always gives it to him in the palm of her flat hand.  The good news is that her finger was not broken.  They did give her a tetanus shot and antibiotics to play  it safe.

Willow loves doing yoga with me in the mornings.

The girls and I got our second annual Christmas pajamas.  I really like this new tradition.

Just a very unfocused picture of a very fast Levi having some fun.

Gotta love this face.

Bella chillaxing.

Willow enjoying some sink time.  Apparently this is very normal.  I googled it:).

Babies, Flowers and OOTD.

Kendall's good friends, Shelby and Casey, welcomed the arrival of their little baby boy just before Thanksgiving.

One of the regulars at work brings the stand flowers on occasion.  This is super sweet and a favorite of the baristas.  It is so awesome to hear Kendall's stories of some of their regulars.  They really become like family.

Kendall and I went and saw Wicked part 2 late one night.  I really love the way this girl does movies.  PJ's, blankets and popcorn waiting at the pickup counter.  I really think I like part 2 even better than the first part.  She went with Diego and some friends the following week.  The consensus was that they all like part 1 better.  either way, they are both terrific!

Diego has to see Kendall of from the porch nowadays, as his ACL is in bad shape.  The swelling at least went down enough for an MRI.  It is indeed torn.  It could be a long road to full recovery.  These things never happen at an ideal time.

Piggy, Northern Lights and Trail Rides.

Sidney and her friends that she puts together the bible studies with met up for coffee and planned out the next few get togethers.  They put together this absolutely hilarious video.  I truly wish I had a copy of it, because it was off the charts.

Meet Piggy.  Piggy is one of the dogs at Sidney's work.  One of her favorites, though I think she says that about most of the dogs.

Now that Sidney has discovered Zupas, we are hard pressed to eat anywhere else.

They had such a good time with Tessa.  The girls are already planning a trip to Canada to see her next.

Sidney and some of her friends drove up to Bogus Basin to watch the Northern Lights.  She said they were breathtaking, even with the naked eye.

There is a new boarder at the range that is near Sidney's age.  They have been meeting up for some trail rides.

I mean, why not stand on your horses bum if you can.

Thanksgiving 2025.

We had an amazing, fun and relaxing Thanksgiving enjoying the company of one another.  Not pictured are me, my mom and Rebecca. Not sure how that happened.

Kendall laying on the floor and receiving a Bella attack.

My mom got me these beautiful flowers.  The bouquet in front are Sid's.  She had a pretty rough week with nearly a week long migraine.  My mom got her these beautiful flowers to let her know she was thinking about her.

Diego joined us for the day.  I was super glad he came over.  He tore his ACL and was still in a lot of pain and barely just starting to get around.  We made sure to keep the dogs at bay when he was going from one place to the other.

Sisters...up to no good I am sure.

Dad, hamming it up as usual.

Sidney set a beautiful table.

Afterwards, we enjoyed some Yahtzee with my new game set!

Somewhere along the way, Sidney came into my new sewing room (aka Kendall's old room) and asked me to help her put together her new Lego flowers.  Umm, yes!!!

Is that a Lime Scooter on the Roof?

Kendall has really been enjoying her apartment life, with some occasionally 'only at college' tales.  One day, as she was walking into the building, she looked up to find a lime scooter on the roof.  Hmm.  Interesting.

Her roommate Jayden losing all of her cream cheese mid-prep.  The girls found this hysterical.

Pumpkins or oranges?  I see pumpkins.  Apparently I am alone in this.  They are clearly oranges.

Another random sighting at the apartment building.  Someone has a pretty fun side gig.

Kendall has been mastering the art of meal prep.  This picture just makes me hungry.

Bailey went to visit her at the apartment for a day.  He loved it!!!  What is there not to love?  Laying on the bed, people watching out the window and enjoying a new dog toy.  He was such a good boy.  I think he is really hoping to be invited back.

Time Marches On.

It is hard to believe that it has been seven years since Kevin died.  The girls and I spent the morning together and went to the cemetery for a visit.  It was a foggy morning, and the cemetery looked beautiful as always.

We shared our core memories of that week with each other.  It is so interesting how three people that experienced the same thing each walk away with different things that stick in our minds.

The girls and I placed quarters on the headstone to mark the visit and signify that we were with Kevin when he died.  This is a military tradition that we do each time we visit.

We stopped by Starbucks and got Kevin's favorite drink.

A short week later, we decorated his tree for him.  It was very special to spend this time remembering him and sharing with one another.

New Jump Stands? We've Got This!

Sidney has a new jump coach and is doing two lessons a week right now.  She is super inspired and this coach is amazing.  She is teaching Sid all kinds of technical things, both in her own riding and in her support of Pigeon over the jumps.  There is so much more to jumping than just guts and hanging on, though that is where it all starts.  Sidney was thinking that we needed a couple more sets of jump stands for the ranch.  I found a pattern online that looked very easy.  We headed to Lowes for supplies and got to work.  We started them and got them completed in one afternoon.  It went remarkably well, with both of us working together.

My coworker asked me how many tools I had to buy in the process.  Ironically, none.  The larger drill and bit that I had to buy for the franken-tree awhile back came in handy.  I honestly did not think I would ever have used for that drill and bit again, but it was exactly what we needed.  Sidney pre-drilled all of the holes and my dad came over to help us out with the big drill.

They turned out so nice!  We used both glue and screws on the base, so hopefully they will stay together.
