Twilight Yoga.

My yoga instructor typically has a twilight yoga once a year for her students.  I started attending her classes right after her event last summer.  This year I had the good fortune to attend.  She had live music before and after the practice which was amazing.

My yoga buddy, Vince, also went.  We started practicing around the same time.  Vince is a rock star.  He manages to get to yoga at least 4-5 days a week and has come a long way.

I quickly gave myself a pedicure before heading there.  What is a yoga class without a good pedicure?  We each had lanterns with tea light candles by our mats.

We started off with an encouraging talk from Jenny.  She shared a lot about her past.  We sat in a circle and each spoke of one thing that we were grateful for.

We were at Dan and Nicole's home which overlooks the river.  Dan and Nicole are the two on the left in the picture below.

At the end, we had some fun with a few partner/group poses.

I had such an amazing time.  I am already looking forward to next year's Twilight Yoga!

Off to Church Camp!

Kendall was excited to go to her third year of camp.  She made duct tape notebooks and pens for both her and Hannah.  The week before leaving, she made a purse for camp.  I was so impressed.  At first, I tried to help.  She told me, in so many words, to back off.  So, I did.  She just asked me if she ran into a question, but otherwise did this entirely on her own.

Here she is with her creation.

It turned out so cute, that I whipped Sidney one up as well.

This was the first year that Sidney was eligible for camp.  Kevin and I really wanted her to go for the experience, but we were not sure if she actually would.  We had her invite her friend Liberty to join her.  David picked them up bright and early Monday morning to catch the bus up to McCall.  Sidney was all smiles.  This girl was ready.

Kendall and Hannah wore the tie-dyed shirts they had made at Hannah's birthday party.  Hannah had called so that they could coordinate outfits...tie-dye, capris, pink socks and tennis shoes.  Smile.

The required dab.

...and off to camp they were for a week of pure fun!

There they are, front and center:)

Meet Bailey.

I always know when Kevin is ready to take the plunge in to dog ownership.  He has not uttered a word about it for months until last Saturday.  He mentioned that there were some yellow labs at Cabela's.  Labs are awesome, but I do not think I had fully appreciated the mild manner of Cooper until we had Chili and Coco.  I knew that our next dog had to be another golden retriever.

The following day, he and I ran to Lowe's for a sprinkler part.  I suggested that we cruise by Cabela's to see if there were any puppies.  Kevin did not hesitate.  Wouldn't you know it...there was a lady there with two litters of golden retrievers.  It was meant to be.  Both litters had the same Sire, an English Cream Golden Retriever that was white as snow.  One litter had a Dam that was a red colored golden retriever.  The other had a Dam that was golden colored.  We chose the golden mother.

Meet Bailey!  The girls were so excited that I believe they may have even shed a tear of happiness.

It did not take long for Bailey to figure out how to untie Kevin's shoe.

It has been so much fun to have Bailey in our family.

Cotton Candy, Kettlecorn, Face Painting and More!

The circus came through town.  The girls had never been.  Kevin and I had not been since we were about their age.  They each had free tickets from the Capitol Classic.  So, off to the circus we went.  Sidney opted for a pony ride.

Kendall, of course, went for the elephant ride.

They had their faces painted in the image of a zebra and a butterfly.

The circus is not complete without cotton candy and kettlecorn.  No wonder they had stomach aches that evening!

The acts were amazing.  My personal favorite was the aerial acrobatics.  Kevin enjoyed the motorcycle stunts.  The girls enjoyed all things animal.

Afterward, we cooled down by a walk through the fountain at the Grove.

While the Cat's Away...and other randomness.

I travel quite a bit for work.  The girls and Kevin often try to make me jealous by sending me pictures of their antics while I am gone.  The top one is pizza.  My favorite meal.  They always eat it at least once while I am away.  During my last trip, they went bowling followed up by a visit to Small Cakes.

Their saving grace is that they bought me a peanut butter fudge cupcake to eat when I got home.

Kevin has had a good past two weeks.  He took advantage of it and went on a fishing trip with his brother.  The girls were super excited to see him when he returned.  They missed their Daddy.

Pool day - just about every day.  These girls love their pool time.

Nothing like a good soak in the sun after a dip in the pool.

My daughter is obsessed with all things "girl".  This would include makeup.  Every time we go to Ulta, she wants the ladies to paint her face.

She even bought some false eyelashes and had our neighbor, Shelly, put them on her.  I would not even begin to know how to do this.  I suppose there are worse things.  She thinks it is quite spectacular.  I blame Hallie for this:)
