One of Terrell's friends in Missoula has season tickets to the Grizzly football games. When they found out Cal Poly was playing the Griz, she called Terrell and asked if we would want to use the tickets. Not only did they give us the tickets, they loaned us their house for the weekend (it is their second home).
Kevin and I jumped at the chance to see the Mustangs. It was a quick trip. We drove up Saturday morning for a Saturday evening game and came home Sunday.
It was Cal Poly's first game of the season and Montana was just coming off a big win over North Dakota. As it turned out, both teams looked pretty rough, but it made for a very unpredictable, very interesting game.
One of Terrell's longtime friends, Carolyn Glidewell happened to be sitting behind us.
Patrick, Ashlee, Roy and Sherry joined us. Please forgive them for their Grizzly attire.
It was a super cold night, wind and rainy. We braved the elements to see it through to the end.
Good thing we did, because Poly made a last second victory!
Way to go Poly!
What did the girl's do while we were away? They played of course. The three P's (Princesses, Pizza and the Park). Who could ask for more? The third little girl is their friend Cortni.
Thank you Al, Linda and Terrell for such a wonderful weekend!
