Graduation 2025 - GPO.

Gem Prep held a nice graduation ceremony.  They had monitors with pictures and information on each of the graduating seniors.

The students moderating the events did a great job.

We made sure to make the loudest possible noise as she crossed the stage, not to be outdone by the parents two graduates before her.  Competitive much?

Senior Dance Pictures.

The dance seniors pulled together and organized a photo shoot at Bogus.  They turned out so amazing.  It was fun to see the pictures displayed at the recitals and company concert.

X-rays for Levi.

Levi has been living at the training facility for the past couple of months.  As she has been working him harder, we wanted to make sure that he was good to go from a trim/treatment standpoint.

So we had both the vet (Dr. Emma) and our ferrier (Chuck) out for a day of x-rays and trimming.  Levi was sedated to make the whole process easier for everyone.

Dr. Emma would x-ray and then Chuck would trim.  Then, Dr. Emma would x-ray again.  This gave Chuck the information he needed to be able to take as much heel off as possible without causing lameness.

It is amazing to me how much an x-ray can show and how much a ferrier can determine with the naked eye.  It was a fantastic experience all around.

Levi seems to think the ferrier stand is his own personal chew toy.

Last of the Dance Trips.

I am truly going to trips these dance trips with Kendall.  It was our special time.  We enjoyed one last trip in May to Portland.  We arrived a little bit late, due to the CWI commencement ceremony, but it was fun nonetheless.

The team did amazing, but there were a lot of tears, as it was the last travel competition for many of these ladies.

Graduation 2025 - CWI.

Kendall graduated with her Associates Degree from College of Western Idaho while simultaneously receiving her high school diploma.  What a feat!  At the commencement, they had mentioned that only 35 high schoolers in the state of Idaho achieved that this year.  She walked in the CWI commencement two weeks before her high school ceremony.  The fun thing was that Hannah also graduated from CWI this year.  The girls had a couple of cap decorating dates in preparation.

Not only did Kendall graduate high school with a two year college degree, she received that degree with honors.  Go Kendall!

The ceremony was held at BSU Extra Mile Arena.  The house was packed and it was a great evening with lots of excitement.

Hannah and Kendall walked and sat together.

I am so proud of how hard she worked to get here.  It certainly was not easy balancing Dutch Bros, Dance, school and a social life.

Feeling Like a Spoiled Mom.

Mother's Day was very special this year.  It started with my lash lady surprising me with this beautiful bouquet of tulips and a very special card.

Kendall got me a very special card and certificate for a massage (see what I mean about spoiled)!  Sidney got me a sweet card and bought a few crafts for us to make together (quality time, yay)!

Bonus, she also helped me wash Levi, which was beyond necessary, as mud flowed off his back.

Look at the length of that tail!
