Wings and The Piano Festival (contributor: Kendall)

Here is a blogpost from Kendall:

A couple months ago, my piano instructor asked me if I would like to participate in Festival. It is where pianists memorize two pieces of music and play them for a judge. They give you multiple options on one of the songs, and you and your instructor pick the other song. I ended up choosing a song called Hot Chili Peppers as my manditory song, and The Caravan as my choice song. A couple days after the Festival, I had piano lessons. My instructor told me I had been rated superior. This is one of my certificates.

As you know, I have been taking gymnastics classes at Wings. They have many competition teams, one group called “Team” and the other group called “Xcel”. Team is where you get assigned routines and you learn them and get judged. Xcel is where you get to create your own routines, choose your own (instrumental) music, and perform them and get judged. I have been invited onto to Xcel for the upcoming season and I am very excited. When you get invited to either Team or Xcel, You “get your wings”. I got my Wings at the most recent session of gymnastics class.
I am praying and asking God what to do and I hope this works out!
