Celebrating Life and Memories.

We had a very special evening celebrating and remembering.  Grandma Terrell celebrated her birthday with Kevin's favorite dessert, pineapple upside down cake.

Kendall gave grandma a hand getting some of her gifts out of the boxes.  Those pesky boxes.

Sidney and Grandma.  Beautiful ladies!

My parents anniversary and Kevin's birthday are the same date.  Kevin was born one year before my parent got married.  That would put my parents at 49 years of wedded bliss - something to celebrate, for sure!

The girls led us in a beautiful candle lighting ceremony to remember Kevin.

After that, we all jumped in and decorated the photo tree, which we have dubbed Kevin's tree.  It is so full of special memories.

We have been adding special ornaments, in memory of Kevin, each year.  I love this ornament from last year which spells out his favorite Starbucks order.

While we were in McCall this year, the girls and I found this cute little bear fishing.  It seemed perfect for the tree.

It was a very beautiful evening full of laughs and a few tears.
