Kendall Turns 19.

Time flies so fast.  I heard that so much when the girls were little, but it is so true.  It has been so strange transitioning for me, as Kendall has transitioned to adulthood.  I am so incredibly proud of the person she is.  We celebrated her 19th birthday this year.  She wanted a quiet dinner at home with family and a couple of close friends.  Oh, and chocolate cream pie, of course.

We enjoyed orange chicken, rice and dessert followed by some rounds of Yahtzee.

One of Kendall's regular customers brought her this fun birthday gift.

Kendall scored some nice gifts and some cash.  She collectively used her cash to buy a beautiful coach purse.

She wears it well!  Happy Birthday, beautiful sweet girl.  The girls and I do this thing in which we tell each other three things we love about one another.  Here are three that come to mind with Kendall (of course there are so many more).

1) I love how positive Kendall is.  She tends to find the good in all situations.
2) I love that she is so determined.  I truly believe that this girls will accomplish anything that she puts her mind to.
3) I love that she is comfortable with herself and her choices.  Kendall is not easily swayed by popular opinion.  She takes in relevant information and forges her own path.  It may or may not be the path most walked, but in either case, she owns it.
