YWAM Kona.

The day after the Vale Rodeo, Sidney had to be at the airport at 5:30am for her trip to Hawaii.  She had applied to a summer camp in January and was accepted.  Sidney, along with her friends Claire and Parker traveled together.

They had a great trip and met some other camper in the Seattle airport for the ocean leg of their trip.

I mean who goes to Hawaii for summer camp?  I am a bit jealous.  They were there for seven days and made the most of every moment.

Here was the view from her 'cabin'.

They had a little market on the campus.  Sidney got hooked on iced coffees for her morning bible studies.

Their cabin leader had a lot of fun things planned for the group of girls in her cabin.  They went to town for dinner several times and had plenty of beach time.

The camp itself was crazy high energy, as expected for a teen summer camp.  Their was great music, games and worship.

On one of the final evenings, the girls dressed up and went out to a nice dinner together.

Though she missed home, I do not think she wanted to leave.  She definitely made some life long friendships.

The trip home was much more subdued for sure.
