Little Sid.

This girl never ceases to amaze me.  In fact, the other day as I was lamenting about the fact that I did not hoard toilet paper, she suggested we invest in a bidet.  How does she even know what that is?  I believe it was the same day that she spent the entire day in her room busy doing 'something'.  After dinner, she asked Kendall and I if we had about 20 minutes to see 'something'.  We joined her in the sun room, as she entertained us with an awesome play that she had pulled together.

Her American Girl dolls served as the cast.  She used a string to help us know which character was speaking.

She had three separate set changes.  It was amazing and a nice break!

Sidney has been spending Friday afternoons with my parents.  She has been able to spend some time in my mom's sewing shop.  Her confidence in sewing is getting better each time she makes something.

Kendall had an opportunity to go to one of Sidney's horse lessons last week.  It was the first time Kendall had seen Sidney ride.  She was super impressed, but found herself being 'attacked' by the goats.  I believe she loved every minute of it!

Sidney was sad to learn that she would not have lessons for the next few weeks, due to the shelter in place order.  The day of the order, she had her last lesson for a bit.  Fortunately, it was the most amazing lesson to date, so she was on cloud nine.  Sidney has been wanting to learn to ride bareback.  When Alyssa made an offhanded comment about 'forgetting the saddle', Sidney jumped on the opportunity.  She was thrilled to learn to handle the horse without a saddle.

Her smile says it all!
