Dogs and Cats

Willow is fitting in so nicely and basically runs the place now.

Kendall getting some puppy time before the big move out.

Terrell came for a quick visit.  She even fell in love with Willow.  Not so funny story.  While Sidney was in Hawaii, Willow got one of her vaccines.  Kendall took her.  That day was crazy with our house painters finishing up.  That evening about 9pm, Willow was nowhere to be found.  She usually gets the zoomies, so I was super concerned.  We looked everywhere.  Terrell had the neighbors out looking until all hours of the night.  I put notices on all the sites.  I was sure she was going to be coyote food.  I did not sleep but a couple hours that night.  I woke up at 5am and headed straight for the front porch.  As I was walking by the living room, I saw this little black dot on the dog bed.  You are kidding me.  She was here the whole time.  Boy was I relieved.  I was not really sure how I was going to break that one to Sid.  Needles to say, I ordered her a collar with a bell that day.

Sid Things.

Sidney and Jayde spent some time up at Anderson Ranch this summer.

Goofing around.

Not quite sure what is happening here.

Meeting some friends for brunch and a bible study.

Hair night with Kennedy.

I am guessing this is the Dierks Bentley concert, but cannot say for certain.

Levi is Home.

Levi finished up his training in July. He/We learned SO much.  He is like a big boy now.

We fixed up Pigeon's stall, such that the boys could be together.  It has been a bit of an adjustment period, but all is good.

My mom has been taking some groundwork lessons and has been having a lot of fun with the horse.  One day she and Pigeon bonded over getting bit by a horse fly together.  Not so fun!

Skydiving Carrying on the Tradition

Kendall was on an adventure roller coaster and had a bit of money left over from Costa Rica, so she booked herself a skydiving adventure.

The guy that she jumped tandem with was absolutely awesome.  He walked her through the entire process.  We even got to ride out to the drop zone to pick the solo jumpers up before her, so she got to watch all of their landings.  She was SO ready to do this.

Once the chute was out, he gave her the reins and let her steer them around a bit.

I think she is hooked!

She wanted to be sure I captured this photo to honor Kevin.

Hiking Hyndman Peak

Sidney, Claire and Claire's mom, Lori had their sites set on hiking Mt. Borah in July.  However, a unexpected snowfall made that a bit tricky, so they opted for Hyndman Peak instead.  Hyndman has an elevation of 12,009 feet.  The girls had been practicing for the hike.  They drove over there the night before and stayed near the base.  The next day they began the journey.

The hike was beautiful.  Sidney weirdly had cell service once they climbed a bit, so she was sending me pictures along the way.

Unfortunately, Sidney started getting altitude sickness at about 11,500 feet and some change.  She made the wise decision to turn around instead of heading up the final peak.  Though she was disappointed, it was the smart move.

This is not Hyndman Peak.  This was a separate day and a separate hike with her friend Kennedy down by Thousand Springs.

Costa Rica 6 - Travels.

Here are a few of their travel pictures.

I am guessing from the looks on their faces that this is on the trip home.

On the way there, they had almost an entire day to explore Venice Beach.

Gelato and yummy food, of course.

More drinks...

Beautiful girls.

Taking some down time.
